Your body loves consistency more than intensity. These five moves are the ones I give almost every patient as a morning baseline.
1. Cat–Cow (10 slow reps)
Move with your breath. Inhale as you arch, exhale as you round. Let your spine wake up segment by segment.
2. World's Greatest Stretch (5 per side)
A lunge, a rotation, and a hamstring stretch in one. Move slowly, this is a conversation with your body, not a race.
3. Standing Hip CARs (5 circles per side)
Controlled articular rotations keep your hips honest. Hold onto a counter if balance is tricky today.
4. Thoracic Openers (8 per side)
Side-lying or seated, rotate through your mid-back, not your lower back. Your shoulders will thank you.
5. Deep Squat Hold (30–60 seconds)
Use support if you need it. The goal is comfort at the bottom, not depth records.
Consistency beats intensity. Five minutes every morning does more than an hour once a week.
If anything pinches or hurts sharply, stop and reach out, that's exactly what I'm here for.
