Scope

What Julia helps with.

A starting point, not a closed list. If you are not sure whether you belong on it, ask.

  • Low back and neck pain
  • Shoulder pain and impingement
  • Knee pain, including runner's knee
  • Hip and ankle mobility
  • Desk posture and repetitive strain
  • Returning to lifting or sport
  • Rebuilding confidence after an injury
  • Pelvic floor symptoms during pregnancy and after birth
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation, where telehealth is appropriate

Specialty focus

Pelvic floor care, before and after birth.

Pregnancy and birth change how your pelvic floor, breathing and deep core work together. Those changes are common; being told to live with them should not be.

  • During pregnancy

Staying strong and comfortable through a changing body, managing pelvic, hip and low back discomfort, and understanding how breathing and pressure affect your pelvic floor before birth.

  • The early months after birth

Gentle rebuilding of the deep core and pelvic floor, making sense of leaking, urgency or heaviness, and working with abdominal separation or a C-section scar.

  • Getting back to what you love

Returning to running, lifting and sport with a plan that respects where you actually are, whether birth was six weeks or six years ago.

These appointments are held over video. They are conversation, assessment of how you move, and a plan you can carry out at home. They do not include an internal examination. If that is what you need, Julia will tell you and help you find someone local.

Clinical scope and wording, and any limits on which states Dr. Julia is licensed to treat patients in, need her review before launch.

The practical part

What happens around the appointment.

After you book

Your appointment appears in your portal straight away. Dr. Julia confirms it and adds the video link, and you can upload anything relevant beforehand.

Your information

Messages and uploaded documents sit behind your login and are only accessible to you and Dr. Julia. Files are never served from public links.

Payment

Sessions and purchases are recorded in your portal and Dr. Julia confirms payment with you directly.

Card checkout is not connected yet. Insurance, superbills and licensure wording must be reviewed by a professional before being published.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Still stuck on something? Send Julia a note. She reads them herself.

How do I know which session to book?
If Julia has not assessed you before, start with the initial evaluation. It is the longest appointment and it is where the plan gets built. After that, follow-ups and shorter check-ins are for progressing the plan or troubleshooting something specific. If you are still unsure, send a message and she will point you to the right one.
Can you really assess me over video?
For most movement, strength and mobility concerns, yes. Much of an assessment is watching how you move and how you respond to what you are asked to do. Some situations genuinely need hands-on examination or imaging. If yours is one of them, Julia will tell you at the start rather than at the end.
Do I need any equipment?
No. You will start with your body, your floor space, and whatever is already in your home. If a specific piece of equipment would help later, Julia will suggest affordable options rather than assuming you own a gym.
What if I need to reschedule?
You can cancel or rebook from your portal, and you can message Julia directly if something comes up close to the appointment. Please give as much notice as you can so the time can be offered to someone else.
How does payment work?
Sessions and shop purchases are recorded in your portal, and Dr. Julia confirms payment directly. Card checkout is not yet connected, see the payment note on this page for what is currently in place.
Where can Dr. Julia provide care?
Physical therapy is a licensed profession and licensure is state-specific, so where care can be provided depends on where you are located. Confirm your state with Julia before your first appointment.

Answers covering licensure, insurance, referral requirements and scope of telehealth practice are drafted for structure only and need professional review before launch.
